Meet our staff

               Dwayne Young
Dwayne

Dwayne has been a technician with our clinic since May 2006. He has 7 1/2 years experience in the veterinary field and holds a certification in animal behavior, and has plans to further his education in the future. Dwayne says his favorite part of his job is contributing to improving our patient's quality of life. In his free time, Dwayne enjoys water gardening, Koi keeping, fishing, and camping.

                  Katie Makos
katie Katie joined our team in July 2010, making her the newest member of our team. She came to our practice to gain knowledge and experience working with pets to provide herself with a competitive edge toward her goal of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician. She and her husband enjoy watching football, spending time with family, cooking, and camping. They are the proud parents of Dorrie, a miniature dachschund, and Sinatra the fabulous flamepoint siamese.

    Claudia Villanueva

Claudia has been with us since October 2008. She is currently working on her veterinary assistant certification. Claudia says her favorite part of the job is going home at night knowing that she helped to save the life of a sick or injured pet. She finds her work extremely rewarding. In her spare time Claudia enjoys running and reading. She is the owner of a shepard mix named Rocky, a Shi-Tzu named Dulce, and a beautiful Siamese named Smudge.

                   Keren Teruel
Kerennew Keren has been a member of our team since June 2009. She is currently completing her core cirriculum for transfer to Texas A&M where she will attend veterinary school in the near future. Keren's inspiration was her father, who is also a veterinarian. She has had the rare privelage of working with her father for 7 years in a refuge for exotic animals such as tigers, bears, cheetas, and giraffes. In her free time Keren enjoys spending time with her family, and working with her father at the refuge.

Jerry has been with Animal Medical Center for over 10 years, working as both a veterinary technician and as head receptionist. He absolutely loves animals, and finds his work extremely rewarding. His favorite part of the job are the many  friendships that he has established with our clients over the years. He has two cats, Firequire and Buttons, and Two miniature Dachshunds, Tigger and Tecke.

               Ariana Perez
Ariana

Ariana moved from El Paso where she was a veterinary technician for four years. During her time here she has become an invaluable asset to our technician team. Ariana is a very compassionate person. She has two cats, Neptune and Zues, and three dogs, Candy, Kana, and Kovu. In her spare time she loves to play tennis, and spending time with her fiance Matthew.
