Animal Medical Center of Austin is excited to expand our practice from two doctors to three with the addition of Dr. Jennifer Goodwin.
Dr. Goodwin comes to AMC from Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic of New Braunfels. She brings years of experience as a mixed-animal practitioner to Animal Medical Center.
Dr. Goodwin obtained her degree in microbiology from Texas State University – San Marcos, during which time she worked as a veterinary technician assistant at Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic. She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, then returned to her roots in New Braunfels and joined the Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic branch there, this time as a doctor. In fall 2018, she joined the Animal Medical Center team.
Dr. Goodwin and her husband love to travel and cook different types of cuisine. They have three cats, Luna, Kitty, and Odin.
“I am so excited to join doctors Gregg and Loretta Farmer at Austin Animal Medical Center this fall!” said Dr. Goodwin. “They and their staff are amazing to work with and I look forward to taking care of Austin’s furry family members.”
The expansion from two doctors to three at Animal Medical Center is an exciting development for the North Austin veterinary practice. The hospital has been providing affordable, quality veterinary care for Austin pets for more than 30 years.
“Central Texas is close to my heart, and I hope to stay for a long time!” said Dr. Goodwin. “I hope to meet you and your pets soon!”
